Dear Sir:
On January 27, 2005, government leaders and concentration camp survivors from
throughout the world are to gather at the site of the notorious Auschwitz
concentration camp to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of its
liberation.
Mrs. Simone Veil, former French Minister of Health, who was a
Jewish inmate of Auschwitz, is to speak at this gathering.
Mrs. Veil is well
known for having brought about the legalization of abortion in France.
Thus,
she is one of those chiefly responsible for an ongoing destruction of human life
far exceeding that of the Nazis.
In her pro-abortion activities she has acted
diametrically contrary to the tenets of Judaism.
In view of the above, it is
exceedingly inappropriate that Mrs. Veil speak at the Auschwitz liberation
commemoration and we submit our emphatic protest thereof.

Le 27 janvier 2005, des chefs de gouvernements et des survivants de camps de concentration venus du monde entier doivent se réunir sur le site du tristement célèbre camp de concentration d'Auschwitz pour commémorer le 60ème anniversaire de sa libération.
Il est prévu que Mme Simone Veil, ancien ministre français de la Santé, qui fut déportée comme juive à Auschwitz, prenne la parole lors de ce rassemblement.
Mme Veil est bien connue pour avoir amené la légalisation de l'avortement en France.
Ainsi, elle fait partie des principaux responsables d'une destruction contemporaine de vies humaines dépassant de beaucoup celle des Nazis.
Dans ses activités pro-avortement, elle a agi d'une manière diamétralement opposée aux préceptes du Judaïsme.
En conséquence de tout cela, il est excessivement inapprorié que Mme Veil prenne la parole lors de la commémoration de la libération d'Auschwitz et nous y opposons une protestation énergique.
